Our mission is to bring our community together and protect our property values by keeping our residents informed with factual information about our community and how it operates. We hold monthly educational community forums OPEN TO ALL RESIDENTS on various aspects of how our community operates. To date we have held forums on: (1) How Our Advisory Committee Chairs advise our Board (2) A Presentation on the future of Indio by the Mayor (3) Recent developments in our community (4) What are the recommended qualifications for a Board Member
We support a a qualified Board of Directors which will make decisions on issues in the best collective interests of our community, as they are mandated to do by law.
We believe that with over $12 million in annual revenues, $13 million investments in our repair and replacement investment fund, and millions more in common assets, we need Directors who will make intelligent decisions for our community based upon facts, the California Business Judgment Rule.
We believe a well qualified Board leads to fact based decision making, which keeps us financially strong, protects our property values, provides for strong cost-effective management, fair and equitable treatment for all residents under our governing documents and keeps our dues moderate.
We also believe in respect, kindness, and volunteering to help make our community an even better place to live.
We invite ALL SCSH Homeowners who agree with our mission, to join us in learning the facts, building community harmony and helping neighbors work together to enhance our way of life. To learn more about who we are, click on "About Us" on the menu bar above.
