Our mission is to bring our community together and protect our property values by keeping our residents(shareholders) informed with factual information about our Sun City Shadow Hills California Corporation and how it operates. To date we have held forums on: (1) How Our Advisory Committee Chairs advise our Board (2) A Presentation on the future of Indio by the Mayor (3) Recent developments in our community (4) What are the recommended qualifications for a Board Member Upcoming we plan to hold forums on what steps we can take to ensure we have a qualified Board.
We believe that with over $12 million in annual revenues, $13 million investments in our repair and replacement investment fund, and $26 million more in common assets, we need Directors who will make intelligent decisions for our community based upon facts, the California Business Judgment Rule.
We believe a well qualified Board leads to intelligent, fact based decision making in accordance with California Corporations Code 7231, keeps us financially strong, protects our property values, provides for strong cost-effective management, fair and equitable treatment for all residents under our governing documents and keeps our dues moderate.
We also believe in respect, kindness, and volunteering to help make our community an even better place to live.
